About the Recipe
This recipe is one that I could devour in a whole sitting. Whenever I bake them, the house smells incredible and I have to restrain myself from eating the whole pan. The recipe is fairly simple and is honestly super fun to bake!

Ingredients
Dough
1/4 cup fine white sugar
2 tsp salt
7 oz unsalted butter (room temp)
7 oz milkÂ
4.5 cups bread flour
2 eggs
2 tsp instant yeast
Filling
1 1/4 cup dark brown sugar
5oz unsalted butter (room temp)
1 tbsp cinnamon
Egg Wash
1 egg whites
1/8 tsp salt
1 tsp milk
Preparation
Step 1
To begin, combine the dough ingredients into a large bowl. Knead with a mixer or by hand for about 5-8 minutes so that the dough is smooth and elastic.
Step 2
Place your dough in a lightly oiled bowl. Cover with a warm damp towel and leave in a warm place for about 1 hour to proof and double in size.
Step 3
Prepare the filling by combining your dark brown sugar, room temperature butter, and cinnamon in a small bowl.
Step 4
Once the dough is proved, punch the dough to release some air and place on a lightly floured surface. Roll out into a rectangle (90x45cm) until about 1-inch thick. Spread the filling on the rolled out dough thinly. Roll it up into a long strip.
Step 5
Using a string, cut into 2-3 inch thick rolls and place into a pan (size depends on how small or big your cut rolls are). I typically get about 6 perfect rolls out of my dough.
Step 6
Using the egg wash mixture, coat the top and sides of your rolls well. Proof them for another 15 minutes in the pan.
Step 7
Bake them at 375F for about 15 minutes! While warm, spread on your cream cheese frosting and powdered sugar. Enjoy!
